Come join us at both Max Taps locations on Saturday, May 14th for the tapping of a very special beer - Kendrick's Ale.

For those who don't know the origin story, this beer has been brewed each year since the STEM school shooting in Highlands Ranch in 2019. It is made in honor of Kendrick Castillo, an incredibly brave student and hero who lost his life protecting his classmates and teachers from the gunfire.

His parents organize the brewing of this beer each year, and 100% of the proceeds from sales go towards a charity of their choice. The cause chosen for 2022 is FASTER Colorado, an organization that trains school faculty on how to deal with violent situations and administer first aid.

Kendrick's Ale is a Hefeweizen brewed with orange peel and Colorado honey, showcasing notes of citrus and sweetness alongside the flavors of banana and clove this beer style is known for.
