June 17th, we will be at Max Taps to have a beer and remember Tony Sly, the lead singer and songwriter of punk band No Use For A Name. We will be collecting donations, advising people where they can go to donate, and we will be selling some copies of the brand new children's picture book, "Tony's Butterflies," which is written and dedicated to Tony Sly. All proceeds will go to the Tony Sly Music Foundation for Kids, which is a 501(c) organization that helps to support music education through projects dedicated in Tony's honor.
BONUS: The Tony Sly Music Foundation has announced that it will be donating the proceeds from "Tony's Butterflies" to Youth On Record for the month of June. A great cause that helps inspire at-risk youth to see the potential for a better life with help from Colorado musicians. We will have copies to sell so be sure to grab yours to support both great causes!
Be sure to come hang out and have a beer with us, maybe even share a few dollars?
